ABOUT SOLANO CANYON

A Message From Writer/Director/Producer/Editor/Doofus Jake Segelbaum

Solano Canyon is a half-hour original comedy pilot based on my time living in Solano Canyon with up to seven people in a four-bedroom house (my room was literally a walk-in closet) as everyone chased their dreams of “making it” in the entertainment industry.

In the summer of 2022, I decided to film this pilot with the help of many of my incredibly talented friends. Producing this project meant countless hours of scheduling, buying (and then promptly returning) props and costumes, creating detailed shot lists, and more. Filming took place over the course of two weekends. After over a year of editing, recording ADR lines, color correcting and re-editing, the pilot was finished.
